I can’t believe I took my son Sam to Gattitown Saturday afternoon and missed the first half of the basketball game!  It was part of a deal that we worked out… Mommy would get to watch the second half.

Then there was the deal with my husband… a huge Nebraska fan.  They were playing Kansas State the same time as Kentucky.  Yes we have two tv’s… but only one is HD.  I wasn’t about to do that.

So I went over to Nancy Cox’s house.  Little did I know Saturday would be about the single greatest day to be  a true blue fan.  In hindsight, I should have watched the first half of the basketball game too just so I could have fully enjoyed the experience.

Watching the comeback against Georgia gave me goosebumps… made me a little misty even.  Seeing the basketball team come together will give me those same feelings in a couple of months.  I couldn’t be more jazzed about what going on in Kentucky sports right now.

By the way, I’m not forgetting about the volleyball team tearing up the SEC or the undefeated women’s basketball team… what a great time to be a Wildcat!
