Sept 14…noon
After the barrage of storminess last week, hasn’t been much to write about this week with our standard tranquil fall weather…just a bit early. It’s also been a hectic week in the world of girl’s high school soccer with the Lady Knights Challenge each night…and 4…yes count ‘em 4 games tomorrow with my PA hat.
A weak cool front will pass this afternoon with some clouds and a bit of rain in the area…not much and a lot of us won’t even see anything. This is the first of 3 shots of cold air with the middle one being the strongest for us.
Here’s the Euro model for Tuesday night…
The wedge of green and blue is the air that has originated in northern Canada. Obviously it modifies greatly by the time it gets here…it is still mid September afterall, but it’s a nice October feeling shot for us midweek next week. BTW, there could be snow flying in Michigan and Wisconsin from this…just some fun info!
Our weekend looks fantastic…sunshine and 70′s! It will get brisk during the UK game Saturday night…just a heads up. Because of the aformentioned soccer tourney, my nephew who just moved here from Michigan will be using my tickets and getting his first taste of SEC football. He may also just giggle a bit if anyone calls it cold Saturday night (he’s from WAY up in Michigan…one of the places that may actually see some snow fly this weekend).
Short and sweet as we head into the weekend…Go Cats (Hilltoppers play well too), and go Lady Knights!
Enjoy the weekend.
